Download Limits, Access & Expiration Policy

Effective Date: July 31, 2026
Last Updated: July 31, 2026
Applies To: All digital manual purchases

Service Manual Experts is operated by Irie Lee LLC. This policy explains, plainly and completely, how downloading a manual works, including how many times you can download it, how long your download access remains active, what happens after the access period ends, and how you can retain a copy after downloading it. Please review this policy before completing your purchase.

1. HOW DELIVERY WORKS

Every manual is provided as a digital file and delivered electronically rather than shipped as a physical item. Once your payment is confirmed, your manual becomes available for immediate download from your order confirmation and, where you have created an account, from your account dashboard as well.

Because delivery is digital and automatic, there is no shipping wait, tracking number, or physical package. Your purchase provides access to a specific digital file subject to the download limit and access period described in this policy. Once you have downloaded and saved the file to your own device, you may retain that copy according to the terms described below.

Delivery Method: Instant digital download.
Delivery Trigger: Confirmed payment.
Download Limit: Up to 5 downloads per order.
Download Window: 180 days from the purchase date.
After the Download Window: Re-download may be available upon request.
Applicable Markets: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.

2. DOWNLOAD LIMIT AND VALIDITY PERIOD

You may download your purchased manual up to five times from the date of purchase. This limit is intended to help protect digital files against unauthorized mass distribution while allowing reasonable personal use across devices that you personally own.

Your download link remains active for 180 days from the purchase date. We recommend downloading and securely saving your file promptly after purchase instead of waiting until the access period is close to expiring.

After the 180-day period, if you still need access to a file you previously purchased, you may request a re-download by contacting contact@servicemanualexperts.com with your order number.

3. HOW THE DOWNLOAD COUNTER AND ACCESS PERIOD WORK

The download counter and 180-day access period both begin on the purchase date, rather than on the date of your first download.

Downloading the file to multiple devices that you personally own is permitted provided that you remain within the five-download limit.

The download limit and access period apply per order. If you purchase the same manual again, the new order receives its own separate download limit and access period.

4. RE-DOWNLOAD REQUESTS AFTER EXPIRATION

If your 180-day download period has expired, or you have used all five available downloads, and you still need access to a manual you previously purchased, you may contact contact@servicemanualexperts.com or use the site's live chat.

When contacting support, please provide your order number or the email address used at checkout. We review re-download requests individually. Once your original purchase has been verified, a new download link may be issued at our discretion.

5. PERMANENT RETENTION OF DOWNLOADED FILES

The download limit and 180-day access period govern how you retrieve the file from our systems. They do not limit how long you may keep a copy that you have already downloaded and saved to your own device.

Once you have downloaded and saved your manual, you may retain that copy permanently for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to the applicable Terms of Service.

We strongly recommend making a backup copy of every downloaded manual using external storage, a USB drive, a hard drive, or a personal cloud storage service such as Google Drive, iCloud, or Dropbox. Maintaining a backup can help protect your access if your device is lost, damaged, reformatted, replaced, or otherwise becomes unavailable.

If our systems experience a temporary technical problem, any file you have already downloaded and saved to your device remains in your possession and is not affected by that temporary disruption.

6. ACCOUNT ACCESS AND PASSWORD RECOVERY

Registered customers can view their purchase history and eligible downloads by logging into their account, subject to the applicable download limits and access periods described in this policy.

If you completed your purchase as a guest, your order confirmation email serves as your purchase record.

If you forget your account password, use the “Forgot Password” feature on the login page to request a secure password reset link by email. If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your account, contact support so that we can verify your identity before assisting you.

7. ACCOUNT DELETION OR CLOSURE

If your account is deleted or closed, either at your request or in accordance with our Terms of Service, you may lose access to your online download history and the convenience of account-based re-download access.

Account closure does not affect files that you already downloaded and saved to your device before the account was closed. Those saved copies remain in your possession.

If you need proof of a previous purchase after your account has been closed, retain your original order confirmation email. You may also contact support, and we can attempt to locate the transaction using the information associated with the purchase, such as your name, email address, and order number.

8. KEY POLICY COMMITMENTS

Permanent Ownership: Once a purchased file has been downloaded and saved to your device, you may retain that copy permanently for personal use, subject to the applicable Terms of Service.

Account Access: Registered customers can access their purchase history and eligible downloads by logging into their account.

Technical Failures: If our systems become temporarily unavailable, previously downloaded files remain in your possession.

Device Backup: We strongly recommend backing up downloaded manuals to external storage or a personal cloud storage service to help maintain long-term access.

9. REGION-SPECIFIC APPLICATION

United States

This policy describes the digital and downloadable nature of our products in clear and specific terms. It is intended to provide material information about how digital files are delivered, accessed, downloaded, and retained. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable state consumer protection laws concerning products or services that are not as described.

United Kingdom

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, your right to cancel a digital content order may end once download begins where you have provided the required express consent and acknowledgement concerning the loss of that right. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described. Nothing in this policy excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Australia

Consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any non-excludable consumer guarantee. The download limit and validity period described here explain how access to a digital file is provided and do not limit any applicable statutory rights concerning acceptable quality or fitness for purpose.

Canada

Federal and provincial consumer protection legislation governs the description, delivery, and quality of digital goods sold into Canada. This policy is intended to operate alongside, and not override, any statutory protection to which you may be entitled as a Canadian consumer.

10. DETAILED POLICY TERMS

How Downloads Work and When They Arrive

Every manual sold through the website is delivered as a digital file. Once your payment is confirmed, your download becomes available on the order confirmation page and, if you created an account at checkout, in your account dashboard as well. Digital orders are delivered electronically and automatically.

Download Limit and Expiration Window

You may download the manual you purchased up to five times from the purchase date, and your download link remains active for 180 days from the purchase date. These limits are intended to help prevent unauthorized bulk redistribution of digital files while allowing reasonable personal use of the file you purchased.

The download counter and 180-day period both begin on the purchase date, not the date of your first download. Downloading the file to multiple devices you personally own is permitted within the five-download limit. The limit and access period apply per order, meaning that a new purchase of the same manual starts a new and separate limit and access period.

Requesting a Re-Download After Expiration

If your 180-day download period has closed, or you have used all five available downloads, and you still need access to a manual you previously purchased, contact contact@servicemanualexperts.com or use live chat. Please provide your order number or the email address used at checkout. After verifying your original purchase, we may reissue a download link at our discretion.

Account Access, Password Recovery, and Account Deletion

Registered customers may log in to view their purchase history and re-download eligible manuals directly from their account without contacting support. If you forget your password, use the “Forgot Password” feature on the login page to receive a secure reset link by email.

If your account is deleted or closed, either at your request or under our Terms of Service, you may lose account-based access to your download history. Files that you already downloaded and saved to your device remain in your possession because access to your account and possession of a previously downloaded copy are separate matters.

Permanent Retention and Your Responsibility to Back Up

The download limit and access period explain how you retrieve the file from our systems. They do not limit how long you may keep or use a copy you have already downloaded. Once saved to your device, the file may be retained permanently for personal, non-commercial use, subject to the applicable Terms of Service.

We strongly recommend saving a backup copy to external storage, a USB drive, or a personal cloud storage service immediately after download.

You are responsible for maintaining a backup of your downloaded files. We are not responsible for loss of your only copy caused by a lost, damaged, stolen, reformatted, or replaced personal device.

Maintaining your own backup is the most reliable way to preserve access to a file independently of the download period.

Server Availability and Technical Failures

We take reasonable steps to keep our digital delivery systems available and reliable. If our systems become temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, an outage, or another technical issue, files that you have already downloaded remain in your possession and are unaffected by that disruption.

If a technical failure prevents you from completing a download that you are otherwise entitled to receive, contact contact@servicemanualexperts.com and we will assist you in good faith.

How This Policy Relates to Refunds and Returns

This policy explains how downloads are delivered, limited, and retained. It does not change or replace the separate Refund Policy, which explains when a refund may be issued, including situations where a file fails to deliver because of a technical error or is corrupted and the issue cannot be resolved by our support team.

Please review the Refund Policy for complete information regarding refund eligibility and applicable timing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our delivery systems, catalog, or applicable consumer protection requirements change. The effective date shown at the top of this page identifies the current version of the policy.

Material changes will be reflected on this page together with an updated effective date.

11. NEED HELP WITH A DOWNLOAD?
