Shipping policy
This Shipping Policy explains how digital manuals purchased from Service Manual Experts are delivered, when customers can expect access, and what to do if a download link or file is unavailable.
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
Legal Operator: Irie Lee LLC
Applies To: All orders placed through Service Manual Experts
1. Digital Delivery Only
Every product sold by Service Manual Experts is delivered electronically. We do not print, package, mail, or ship physical manuals, books, discs, tools, parts, or other physical products.
Depending on the product, the delivered file will be:
- A PDF file; or
- A ZIP archive containing one or more PDF files.
No shipping carrier, tracking number, postage charge, customs declaration, or physical transit period applies to an order.
2. How Digital Delivery Works
After payment is successfully confirmed, a secure download link is normally provided through:
- The email address entered during checkout;
- The order-confirmation page; or
- The customer’s account or order history, when that feature is available.
The link allows the customer to download the applicable PDF file or ZIP archive to a compatible computer, tablet, or smartphone.
A billing address may still be requested during checkout for payment verification or tax purposes. Providing a billing address does not mean that a physical product will be shipped.
3. Expected Delivery Time
Download access is normally available within minutes after payment has been successfully processed.
Delivery may occasionally take longer because of:
- Payment verification or security review;
- An incorrectly entered email address;
- Spam or email-filtering settings;
- Delays involving an email or payment provider;
- Temporary website or digital-delivery service interruptions; or
- A large file requiring additional time to download.
If more than 60 minutes have passed since checkout and you cannot locate your download, follow the steps below or contact customer support.
4. If the Download Email Does Not Arrive
Before contacting us:
- Check your spam, junk, promotions, and other filtered email folders.
- Confirm that the email address entered during checkout was correct.
- Review the order-confirmation page for an available download button or link.
- Sign in and review your order history if you created a customer account.
If the download is still unavailable, email contact@servicemanualexperts.com or use the live-chat feature on this website.
Include your order number and the email address used during checkout. We will review the delivery record and, where appropriate, resend or restore the download link.
5. Incorrect Email Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate email address during checkout.
If an incorrect or mistyped address was provided, contact us with:
- Your order number;
- The incorrect email address used during checkout;
- The correct email address; and
- Any information reasonably needed to verify the order.
An email-address error is not ordinarily considered a failure of our delivery system, but we will make a reasonable effort to verify the order and send the download information to the correct address.
6. PDF File Delivery
A manual delivered as a PDF can be opened directly after the download is complete using a compatible PDF reader.
Customers should confirm that:
- The file finished downloading;
- The device has sufficient available storage; and
- A current PDF reader or compatible browser is being used.
An incomplete download may cause a PDF to appear blank, damaged, or unreadable.
7. ZIP Archive Delivery
A ZIP archive is a compressed folder containing one or more PDF files. The ZIP archive must be completely downloaded and extracted before the enclosed PDFs can be opened.
To access a ZIP-delivered manual:
- Download the entire ZIP archive.
- Locate the file in your device’s Downloads folder or file-management application.
- Select Extract, Unzip, or Decompress.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Open the enclosed PDF file or files using a compatible PDF reader.
Do not attempt to open the ZIP archive itself with a PDF reader. Doing so may cause the device to report that the file is unsupported, unrecognized, corrupted, or damaged even when the archive is valid.
8. Internet Connection and File Size
An internet connection is required for the initial download. Once a PDF has been downloaded—or a ZIP archive has been downloaded and extracted—the manual can generally be viewed offline.
Manual file sizes vary. Detailed manuals and ZIP archives containing several PDFs may require significant download time and storage.
For larger files, we recommend:
- Using a stable Wi-Fi or wired internet connection;
- Avoiding interruption of the download;
- Confirming that the device has sufficient storage; and
- Keeping enough free space for both a ZIP archive and its extracted contents.
Mobile-data charges imposed by an internet or cellular provider are the customer’s responsibility.
9. Saving and Backing Up Your Files
After downloading a manual, save it in a location you can access later. We recommend retaining a backup on another personal device or private storage location under your control.
For ZIP products, retain either the original ZIP archive, the extracted PDF files, or both.
Customers must not publicly share the downloaded file, ZIP archive, extracted PDFs, or download link. Permitted-use restrictions are explained in our Terms of Service.
10. Reaccessing a Download
Download links may remain available through the original delivery email, order-confirmation page, or customer account, subject to applicable access limits.
If you lose access, contact us with your order number and purchase email address. We will review the order and provide reasonable assistance consistent with our Download Limits, Access & Expiration Policy.
A customer’s responsibility to keep a local backup does not eliminate a remedy required by applicable law.
11. Delivery Problems and Refunds
Please contact us if:
- No working download link was provided;
- The link repeatedly fails because of a technical issue attributable to us;
- The delivered file does not correspond to the product purchased;
- A fully downloaded PDF cannot be opened in more than one current PDF reader;
- A fully downloaded ZIP archive cannot be extracted using more than one compatible extraction tool; or
- A ZIP archive is missing files expressly promised in the product description.
We will normally attempt to resend the link, replace the file, provide the correct product, or offer reasonable technical assistance before issuing a refund.
If we cannot provide the purchased product in a working and accessible form, a refund may be available under our Refund Policy.
Ordinary delivery or file-problem reports should be submitted within 10 days of purchase. This reporting period does not eliminate a longer mandatory right or remedy provided by applicable law.
12. No Physical Shipping Charges
Service Manual Experts does not charge:
- Postage;
- Physical shipping fees;
- Carrier surcharges;
- Packaging or handling fees;
- Customs duties; or
- Physical-delivery insurance.
Any tax required for a digital-product transaction will be displayed during checkout where applicable. A tax charge is not a shipping charge.
13. International Delivery
Service Manual Experts currently serves customers in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
Digital delivery operates substantially the same way in each market. No physical product crosses a border, and no customs or international carrier process applies.
Download speed and email-delivery timing may vary according to the customer’s internet connection, device, email provider, and location.
Nothing in this policy excludes or replaces a mandatory consumer right applicable in the customer’s jurisdiction.
14. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing an accurate email address;
- Using a compatible device and current software;
- Maintaining sufficient storage space;
- Allowing a large download to complete fully;
- Extracting ZIP archives before opening the enclosed PDFs;
- Keeping a local backup after delivery; and
- Contacting us promptly if a delivery problem occurs.
Additional technical information appears in our Technical Specifications & System Requirements.
